When people look at my pictures I want them to feel the way they do when they want to read a line of a poem twice.
Robert Frank, Photographer
In my somatic practice I ask clients, often: How do you feel? Where do you feel it? Does it have a shape, a texture, a color? Does it make you want to move? Cry? Laugh out loud? Stomp your feet? My aim is to help people connect to their feelings through the body, to get out of their heads and into their bodies. So it is with these photos, a sample of my photographic work. Does one evoke a particular feeling? What is that feeling? By the way, it’s perfectly fine if it doesn’t.

Don’t shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like.
